Dental Discounts plans, are the dentist any good.

I have been debating over whether or not to get a dental discount plan. It is with in my price range so that is why I think it would workout best for me. However are the dentist that take a discount plan any good? I was told to stay away from discount plans because dentist that take the plan are not really good dentist. Is that the case that you do not get the best dentist in a discount plan like you do in an insurance plan.

That is a believe that is not funded on any facts. You can get a bad dentist any where not just dentist that take discount plans.
When choosing any dentist in a plan or not do some extra research if you are wanting to know if that dental office is the right fit for you. Do not just judge a dental office by what insurance or plan they take.
What the dental office takes does not make the dentist any better or worse then the next dentist on the list.

My question to the people that are telling you that is just how many dental discount plans were they on. You may be surprised that they never had a discount dental plan and it is just a wives tell they heard about dental plans and HMO dental insurance.
I suggest calling some of the dentist in the plans you are looking and judge for yourself.
